I will not resell it, use it as a guard dog, fighting or bait dog, or as a food or research animal.Radio Field If I am giving this animal as a gift, I will sign as the responsible party (adopter) and return a signed adoption agreement from the gift recipient to Doberman Paw Rescue within 10 days of my signature on this agreement. Doberman Paw Rescue will treat me as the adopter and I will house the animal with me under the provisions of this agreement. With the returned contract signed by the gift recipient, the gift recipient will then adhere to the pre-adoption approval process of Doberman Paw Rescue to become the legal adopter of this animal.Radio Field I will abide by all state laws and municipal ordinances pertaining to or controlling animals.Radio Field I will house animals in my care under sanitary conditions, which exceed minimum standards as defined by local health and sanitation authorities. I will provide appropriate food, clean water, indoor shelter, necessary care, and humane treatment including veterinary care for all animals in my care.Radio Field I understand that Doberman Paw Rescue makes no warranty as to the age, health, breed, habits, or disposition of this animal. I completely and fully release Doberman Paw Rescue, its past, present, and future volunteers, members, officers, agents, and the board of directors from any liability for any injury or damage this animal could inflict upon any person or property, and for any illness of the animal, or for the transmittal of any illness or parasite to any other animal or person. I further indemnify and hold harmless Doberman Paw Rescue for any action, suits, fees, or expenses, including actual attorney’s fees, arising out of my adoption of the animal from Doberman Paw Rescue.Radio Field If the animal is medically unable to be altered at the time of adoption, I will have it spayed or neutered by a veterinarian as soon as medically feasible and provide proof to Doberman Paw Rescue of the procedure. If permanently unable to be altered, I will take all precautions necessary to not allow this animal to sire or produce a litter. I will also continue to alter other animals in my care unless they are purchased from a reputable breeder and I am actively showing the animal in sanctioned conformation events for the betterment of its breed, or it is not medically safe to perform the procedure, determined by a veterinarian.Radio Field I agree to contact Doberman Paw Rescue in the event I can no longer care for this animal for any reason. Doberman Paw Rescue holds first rights in reclaiming the animal. I further understand that if I do not adhere to these terms if I have misrepresented myself, or if I have adopted the animal under false pretenses, this animal will be reclaimed by Doberman Paw Rescue.Radio Field I understand that I am adopting this animal with a diagnosed medical condition or fault. I fully realize that this animal needs continuing medical or behavioral treatment. This and all other conditions will be treated promptly according to the veterinarian’s recommendations.Radio Field I understand Doberman Paw Rescue reserves the right to follow up on this adoption, to inspect the animal and where the animal is kept, for the sole purpose of determining compliance to this contract, by making a personal visit to the premises of the adopter at any time during the entire lifespan of the dog. Further, I will notify Doberman Paw Rescue of any change of address, as well as loss, serious injury, or death of this animal. Doberman Paw Rescue will retain the primary contact on microchip registries for the life of this animal.Radio Field If at any time during this animal’s life with me, the animal is treated in a manner inconsistent with this agreement, Doberman Pinscher Assistance of Wisconsin Inc (Doberman Paw Rescue) will invoke the provisions agreed to in this agreement, including reclaiming ownership and custody of this animal.
